Counseling the Gifted Individual

Gifted individuals think and feel differently than others. Their advanced intellectual and creative abilities lead them to experience life with greater complexity and intensity. Experiencing the world in this unique way leads to great joy and sometimes great frustration and even depression. These qualities may mistakenly lead to misdiagnoses by those who are not familiar with the unique characteristics of the gifted.

Parenting Consultation

Parent consultation services focus on teaching parents or primary caregivers basic principles of behavior and helping them develop skills needed to promote positive social behaviors and ameliorate behaviors that interfere with learning and social interaction of their children.
